Neuro-Ophthalmology

Neurophysiology

Be able to interpret results of EEG and video-EEG monitoring, perform and interpret results of nerve conduction studies and concentric needle EMG, and interpret results of VEP, BERA, and SSEP.

Genetic Counseling

Be able to order specific genetic tests for certain disorders, interpret the results of the tests, and offer genetic counseling to the families of affected patients.

Neuroimaging

Be able to select appropriate imaging modality and interpret results obtained from CT, MRI, CT and MR angiography, DSA, PET, SPECT and fMRI, USG, and X-rays.

Neuropsychology

Be able to assess and manage patients with psychological illness, timely referral to a child psychologist, and interpretation of psychological assessments.

Neurorehabilitation

Be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assess patients for the need for long-term rehabilitation, basic principles of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral modification, and remedial education.
